The founders have been in the commodity trading for over 35 years, specializing in delivering essential commodities and consumer goods to underserved and high-demand markets through a trusted network and agile operations.

Sourced directly from farmers in Chad, Sudan and Ethiopia, where we operate at origin with strong local networks that ensure consistent quality and traceability.

Rice

We supply a wide range of rice varieties from Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, and Pakistani origins to meet the needs of importers and distributors across key demand markets, ensuring reliability, consistency, and value.

Sugar

Supplied from India, Brazil, UAE and Saudi aligned with seasonal needs and regional specifications.

Sunflower Oil

Supplied in both bulk and packaged formats from Ukraine, Turkey, and Romania, serving both industrial processors and consumer distributors.

FMCG Distribution

We operate robust last-mile distribution networks in Chad and Sudan, delivering essential goods such as palm oil, soaps, detergents, and other daily household products to wholesalers, retailers, and institutional clients.

Trade ventures is well known in the sesame seed industry as a large trader of international standard quality seeds sourced from Africa. (Sudanese, Chad and Ethiopian origins)

We are originators of some of the finest sesame seeds in the world coming directly from the producers.

Trade Ventures is a leading rice supplier, importer, exports, trader & distributor across Africa & Middle East. We source rice from India, Pakistan, Thailand, Vietnam and Myanmar for distribution across Africa.

At Trade Ventures Ltd., our FMCG distribution business is built on the foundation of deep market access, logistics strength, and a strong understanding of consumer demand across underserved regions.

As part of a larger group with sister companies engaged in manufacturing a wide range of consumer products, we leverage this integration to ensure consistent supply, competitive pricing, and direct access to trusted brands.

We operate dedicated distribution networks in Chad and Sudan, where we supply an extensive portfolio of essential fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), including:

Our local infrastructure includes warehousing, route-to-market teams, and close partnerships with wholesale and retail channels. This allows us to deliver reliably to urban and remote areas alike, maintaining product availability even in challenging environments.

OUR TEAM

At the heart of Trade Ventures Ltd. is a capable and collaborative team committed to operational excellence across every aspect of our business. Our centralized head office, located in Kuala Lumpur, serves as the strategic center of the company, where the managing director and his team are based. This leadership team oversees all regional activities and is supported by a fully dedicated headquarters team responsible for coordinating and managing operations across all countries.

To ensure efficient execution on the ground, each country is managed by a dedicated country manager who holds full responsibility for operations in their respective market. These country managers report directly to the relevant director and are empowered to make decisions, lead local teams, and drive performance in line with our group strategy. Our regional operations span key markets across the Middle East and Africa, including Turkey, Chad, Cameroon, Central Africa, Sudan, and Djibouti. In each of these territories, our teams are supported by a structured framework that enables agility, responsiveness, and strong execution.

This integrated structure—combining centralized leadership with empowered local teams—allows Trade Ventures to maintain high standards, adapt to market dynamics, and deliver consistent value to our partners and clients around the world.
